Couples who Receive Government Assistance Report Less Marital Satisfaction, Commitment, MU Study Finds

A new study from the University of Missouri has determined that there is indeed a connection between marriage and money – more specifically between divorce and low income families that receive government aid. Couples that receive government aid and have a household income of $20,000 or less are more likely to experience marital distress that can lead to a divorce, even more likely than those that are not receiving any government aid at all.

Dr. Scramm, the researcher behind the study is one of the first to look at the issue of divorce from this angle. Click here  to read more about his study.

Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
