BALANCING FAMILY LIFE ON MAY 28, 2010

Announcing Dr. Dana Fillmore, Clinical Psychologist, will be speaking at the YMCA Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Family Camp on May 28, 2010. She will be conducting a workshop on “Balancing Family Life.”

The YMCA Deaf and Hard of Hearing Family Camp has been making a difference in the lives of children and families. Each year the camp is held over Memorial Day weekend at a YMCA facility in Julian.

At camp, parents have the unique opportunity to come together to discuss complex issues related to raising children with hearing loss. Parents attend workshops presented by a variety of professionals in the fields of education, assistive listening technology, child development and advocacy while children participate in their own age-appropriate activities.

Dr. Fillmore has over fifteen years of experience helping individuals, couples and families in San Diego County.
